The Maison Tirel Guerin, between Cancale and Saint Malo, is ideally located in the heart of the Emerald Coast and close to the Bay of Mont Saint-Michel.

The Emerald Coast, part of the northern coast of Brittany between Cap Fréhel and Cancale, was named by Eugène Herpin because of the emerald green colour of the sea at certain times.
